New Sedation information

Versed can be given Intranasal!!!

• Significantly Deeper sedation than oral route
• Dose 0.4mg/kg
• Average Time to sedation 12 minutes
• No vomiting or o2 desaturation noted
• Average recovery time 41 minutes
• Given TB syringe or using atomizer syring

Pam has given permission for versed to be used this way, looking at atomizer to buy, fits on end of syringe, not good to use if child has copious amounts of nasal drainage.
